WILLIAM JOYCE'S CITIZENSHIP NO ESCAPE FROM TRIAL WASHINGTON. June 27. . The Attorney-General, Mr F. W Biddle, told the Press that if British courts determine that William Joyce (" Lord Haw Haw ") is an American citizen the United States Department of Justice will " grab him quick." Mr Biddle added that Joyce is either an American traitor or a British traitor. If Joyce's claim of American citizenship is sustained he will be brought before an American jury.
