OFFICIAL SOVIET COMMUNIQUE (Rec. 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 29. A Soviet communique repeats the order of the day to ißokossovsky, and adds: His troops yesterday took prisoner 2,000 and captured 106 field guns. Troops of the First White Russian Command continuing the Berlin street battles captured the Moabit district, Anhalter station, and 177 blocks of houses in the central part of the city. The Russians north of Berlin captured a number of inhabited places, including Marienwerder. More than 6,000 Germans were taken prisoner in Berlin. Yesterday the Russians captured 83 planes, 158 field guns, 139 locomotives, over 3,000 rail carriages, ant] 30 military dumps. Troops of the Third Ukrainian Command engaged in street fighting in the south-western part of Berlin occupied the southern part of the Wilmersdord district as far as the Berlinerstrasse, also captured tho Hohenzollerandamm and Hallensee stations on the Berlin circular railway. They yesterday took prisoner more than 5,000 Germans. Troops of the First White Russian Command, and the First Ukrainian Command are engaged in liquidating the Germans encircled in the Wednebuehholf area sou<;h-east of Berlin. The Russians yesterday took prisoner 40,000 Germans, of whom troops of the First White Russian Command captured 30,000. Troops of the Second Ukrainian Front east of Brno occupied a number of places.
