FINAL WORK-OUTS (Special.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 26. As several of the Riccarton horses engaged at Washdyke on Saturday were railed to-day, or are due to go to-mor-row, fast "work was restricted to-day, the bulk of the horses being let off with useful working tasks. The trial crass was open, but as it was very hard on top, the plough was generally in use.

The fastest sprint of the morning was credited to Burberry, who covered five furlongs in 1.0 2-5, the last three in 36. On his track work Burberry should have been a good winner to date, but he appears to have become solid with vecent racing, and should make somn amends at Washdyke. Desert Flight ran five 'furlongs in 1.3 2-5 under a good hold, the last three in 38 1-5, and Nurnie- recorded lmin 4sec, the last three in 38 2-5. Lord Advocate, was in front of Palfrey throughout seven furlongs in 1.29 4-5. the last four in 50 3-5.

Silver Sal and Atreus were companions over the same distance in 1.29 1-5, the first four ini 49 3-5, and they (inished together.

Tikakoura and Buddy covered Six furlongs in 1.18 2-5, each three in 39 1-5

John Gay went over the same ground in 1.18, each three in 39.
