PIGEON RACING
The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flow ils second Parnassus race on Saturday in fine conditions. The stalionmastcr liberated 205 birds, representing 20 lofts, and the birds again put up a good performance, the winning bird flying the distance of 260 miles in 5h 23miu. The following are the results in yards per minute:—Mr A. Morris's Arcadia, 1,407.4, 1; Mr M. Anderson's Hill Ladv. 1.405.5, 2; Mr J. Scoullar's Redway, 1,401, 3: Mr L. Ton.ks's Presage, 1 ; 398.5, 4; Mr P. leaser's Wager, 1,396.5. 5; Mr A. Eraser's Honesty, 1,396.3, 6. The club will flv a race from Wellington (400 miles air line) on Saturday next.
