COUPON AVAILABILITY
JANUARY-FEBRUARY PERIOD (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 25. The availability of tea, sugar, and butter coupons for the period which commenced yesterday, as announced in December last, was confirmed tonight by the rationing controller, Mr J. E. Thomas, as follows: Tea.—Coupons Nos. 3a to 16, inclusive, aro available for the four weeks from January 24 to February 20, for a total of eight ounces. Sugar.—Coupons Nos. 13 to 16, inclusive, are available for a total of 31b, from January 24 to February 20. Butter.—A coupons 13 and 14 are available from-January 24 to February 6. each for eight ounces. A coupons 15 and 16 are available from February 7 to February 20, each for eight ounces. Current special allowances are:— Special coupon Y 3 is available for eight ounces of tea up te the end of January Special coupon Y 4 is available for 31b of sugar to the end of January. Special coupon Y 5 is available for 31b of sugar during February. Mr Thomas also said that the .present hosiery couoon, XlOl, would expire on January 31. As from February 1, coupon XlO2 would be available for one pair of fully-fashioned silk oi art silk stockings for the ensuing period. *
