NURSE’S COLLAPSE; A single womadL Isabelle Elizabeth M‘GMe, aged 29,a, nursing sister, residing at 433 High - street, collapsed and died early yesterday afternoon at her residence- Nov inquest will- ba held, ' FOUND DEAD. A Wellington Association message states that Leslie Robert Grant, a chemist, was found dead in his pharmacy last evening by his senior assistant, The police and a doctor wero summoned, but life was extinct. An inquest was opened to-day. Grant, who had suffered ill-health for some time, was a member of many district activities. and served on the Borough Council for three years. INJURED BY COW’S HORN, Ernest Ellis, a married man, residing at 343 Kaikorai Valley road, was admitted to the Hospital at 7 -SO last night, the victim_ of an unusual injury. He was feeding a cow, when one of its horns came up 'and entered his eye. CARTRIDGE EXPLODES. When a cartridge with which he was playing exploded, Alan Parker, a small boy, residing at Roxburgh, received injuries to his legs and arms yesterday afternoon. He was admitted to th« Dunedin Hospital at 5.45.
