RIFLE SHOOTING
KIWI DEFENCE CLUB The Kiwi Defence Kitte Club fired a shoot at 300 and 500 yards on the Pelichet Bay Range on Saturday afternoon. Seven shots with one sighter were fired at each distance. Conditions were good for scoring, and one possible at 500yds was secured by Rifleman P. Fennessy. The results of the shoot rtvere; A grade—P. Fennessy 67, C. Kibblewhite 66, W. Crimp 65, F,. MINIATURE RIFLES The first handicap competition of (he season commenced on the Railway Miniature Rifle Club’s range on Monday night, and the finalists to shoot off are: F. Restieaux, 75—5—80: L. Rowlands, 80—1—80; A. Johnstone, 79—2—80; J. Peterson, 78—4—80; A. Gillespie, 79 —I—Bo.1—80.
