LOVELOCK RELAY Trophies were presented by Dr J. B. Dawson, president of the 0.U.H.C., after the Lovelock relay race. Dr Dawson also thanked all the officials, including those from the Otago Centre, 'for their efficient handling of the race. CAVERSHAM. After the Lovelock Trophy relay the Caversham Club held its run from the North End Boating Club’s pavilion. The run was won by A. J. Barr, followed by C. M'Grcgor and D. Beatson. LEITH. The weekly run was hold from the Dundas Street Hall. A farewell was given to Noel Arthur, who has left for the north to service in the forces. A new member, Lex Knight, was welcomed. Under the whistle of Captain Fincham the pack ran up the Bullock Track and Leith Valley to the Queen’s Drive. The order of finishing was : R. Baton 1, W. Freeman 2, N. Jefferson 3. MORNINGTON. After the Lovelock Relay a combined Mornington and Varsity pack ran up Signal Hill to the monument and then down into Ravensbourne. From here the pack ran home to the University Oval. The results were as follows: K. Lindley 1. N Hugget 2, and V. Kowon 3. CIVIL SERVICE, After the Lovelock relay the Civil Service Harriers had a run over the hill at the back of Logan Park. The fast pack under G. W. Watson had quite a steady run, with Drummond and M'Kinnon prominent. The juniors, under R. B. M'Kernan, had a run home, resulting: Greaney 1, M'Garry 2, Symester 3. Tinder B. R. M'Kernan the colts had quite a steady run. The run home resulted: Walton, Middlemiss, and Bruce M'Kernan. CELTIC UNITED. The run was held from the St. Clair Baths. One main pack was formed, which made its route around the golf links, and thence to Tunnel Beach. A short run home resulted in 3. M'Manus coming in first. D. Blackburn and J. Cameron were placed. ST. KILDA. The St. Kilda colts held their weekly run from the Glendining Boys’ Home, Anderson’s Bay. In the run home W. Mackintosh, S. Falconer, and‘ L. Wates finished in that order. Four new members were welcomed to the club. BAPTIST. A fair turn-out aud ideal conditions made the run a very pleasant one. Starting from the Roslyn Baptist Church, the pack made its way via Frasers' Gully to the base of Five-tree Hill and to Taieri road aud down through Wakari. A run home of about half a mile resulted in a win for D. Bilson, G. Blackman and A. Dixon next.
