STORMY NIGHT
GALE IN WELLINGTON GUST ATTAINS 64 M.P.H, [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 8. A strong southerly raged throughout the night in Wellington, the wind reaching a velocity of 64 miles an'hour in one gust recorded at Kelburn. The lowest barometrical reading was 28.90 in inst before midnight. Gardens have suffered a severe battering, and there lias been a certain amount of minor damage.
