FIRST THINGS FIRST.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —In reply to your sub-leader, 1 would like to assure you that the people of this small Dominion are well aware of their essential duty at this time of crisis. They are also well aware that the Government put into power by the people is not leaving a stone unturned in its determination to help our small Dominion to defeat tho malignant enemy. If the Opposition Party is as sincere as the people and the Government elected by the people, let it help the powers that be right now, and show goodwill instead of parading round the country trying to upset the apple cart. —I am, etc., Impartiality. December 8.
