SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS APPEAL.
TO THE EDITOR. . Sir.—Once again we have the Christmas season with us with the spirit of goodwill abroad. I would like to thank those who have helped us during the year to bring a little cheer to those who are suffering. Many have taken fresh courage as a result. May I remind readers of the “ little extra” for tho festive season? Our sympathy goes out to the helpless and needy, to the children and parents who have' had a hard struggle during the year. I would appeal to our friends to help:us make a happy Christmas in the homes of these people. Donations may be sent to 37 Dowling street, telephone 13-207i—1 am, etc., M. Dickinson, Adjutant. December 8.
