To-night’s session at the new Do Luxe Rink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall, 7.30 to 10, includes the shoppers’ concession—admission and skates 6d, between 9 and 10 p.m. At 9.30 to-night a one mile speed test will be" staged. Three big sessions will be held to-morrow —morning, 10 to 12; afternoon, 2.30 to 4.30; and an extended evening session from 7.30 to 10.45. There will be skating competitions, with prizes, at each session. The New Zealand amateur roller skating championships will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 1 and 2.
