ANNUAL CONFERENCE AT DUNDEE LARGE ATTENDANCE EXPECTED (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, August 20. An attendance of over 2,000 is expected at this year’s meeting of the British Association, which will he opened at Dundee in 10 days’ time. Sir Albert. Seward, the famous Cambridge botanist, will deliver the presidential address on • Western Isles Through the Mists of Ages.’ The “ special areas ” of Scotland wil!_ be discussed in the economics section. Two special sessions will be devoted to Dundee’s great industry, jute. In the physiology section an interesting symposium in honour of the late Sir James Mackenzie will deal with ‘ The Problem of Pain.’
