Thomson. The annual report stated that hockey areas had been levelled, the baths repaired, shrubs planted, and paths tarred and sealed, and buildings painted. The improvements carried out last year would enable the board to conserve funds for the erection of dressing sheds for hockey players with the assistance of the clubs concerned. The expenditure last year exceeded that of the previous year‘by about £4OO, and in order to assist with employment of men under scheme 13 it was necessary to carryover a debit of £26, but it was hoped to improve the position this year.
