(Received November 12, at 1 p.m.) The Prime Minister (Mr King) announced that the Canadian-United States trade pact had been completed. An announcement of the terms is likely to be made within a few days, and it appears that the new agreement is based on broader and more comprehensive lines. It is expected that the' Prime Minister will go to Washington during the next week to sign the pact, and a simultaneous announcement will follow immediately. - , ’lt- is understood that the hitch.’ in the British-United States treaty ;has been removed, and that an agreement is likely to be announced at the same time. ■.
