(Received November 12, at 1 p.m.) Markets generally continued the previous improvement ■ and business appreciably broadened, While prices returned to mid-August levels. The undertone: is excellent and the technical position sound, but, nevertheless, London is infinitely more cautious than New York. Price movements were more sluggish on the volume _of business, and compared with similiar phases earlier this year are below normal. Gilt-edged, securities revived and colonials improved, _ especially Australian and South African, but New Zealand bonds still sold after Mr Savage’s statement regarding declining London balances.
