THE “DISCIPLINE” ASPERSION

RAILWAYMEN RESENTFUL [Pek United Press Association.] "tImARU, July 4. At a large meeting of combined railwaymen the following resolution was carried unanimously: combined meeting of railwaymen, representing all divisions, resents the un-called-for remarks of Mr W. P. Endean, M.P., that lack of discipline throughout the service was a contributory factor to recent railway accidents. This is contrary to fact, as the standard of discipline has not been relaxed in the service, and the standard of efficiency of the staff was never higher.”
