SMALL COAL.
TO THE EDITOU Sir,- —As another housewife I should he very pleased if you would allow me to endorse the protest of " Frozen ” in connection with this matter of small coal. I am aware that legislation now permits the inclusion in household coal of small stuff which is practically no better than dross. In both range and grate it is a constant nuisance, and many of us would be more than grateful if anything could be done to place ns in our former position of being able to get decent coal if we are willing to pay for it.—l am, etc., Harassed Housewife.
