FINE OF £ls [Peb Unwed Pkxss Assocunow.l TIMARU, November 13. Described as a silver bettor, Arthur M'Kenzie, a married man, aged 47, appeared before Mr Morgan, S.M., in tha Timaru Court this morning ana pleaded guilty to carrying on the business of a bookmaker at Timaru. He was . fined £ls and given a fortnight to pay. The police said it was his first and it was understood that M'Kenrie, who was in a small way, was acting as agent for a man operating on a larg* scale.
