BASQUE CHILDREN LEAVING ENGLAND MANY ORY BITTERLY. LONDON, November 12. (Received November 13, at 11 a.m.) The first party of Basque children has left England. Many of the children were crying bitterly. Mrs Leah Manning, a member of, the National Joint Committee, stated that some of the boys threatened to throw themselves into the sea rather than return. The children are afraid of General Franco’s supporters, and are uncertain whether the parents of many of them are still alive. NDN-INTERVENTION SUB-COMMITTEE TO MEET ON TUESDAY.
