PROVISION FOR THE BLIND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 12. Blind persons in future will receive old-age pensions a£ 40. instead of 50, under the Blind Persons Bill, which passed the second reading in the House of Commons. There are 78,000 registered blind people in England, Wales, and Scotland, of whom about 57.000 aro aged 50 or upwards, ami 8.000 between 40 and 50.
