Tho ‘ News-Chronicle ’ says _ Haile Selassie’s memoirs, including his personal account of the Abyssinian War and the events leading up to it and since last autumn, have been withdrawn for “political reasons.” The London publisher, Air Michael Joseph, to whom Selassie was under contract, said Selassie’s solicitors informed him that for political considerations that could not be revealed he would bo unable to publish the manuscript. Air Joseph added: “ belassio’s decision is not due to political pressure, but to advice received from his political advisers.’
