ASHBURTON TROTTING CLUB The Ashburton Trotting Club has been granted a change of date from June 12 to June 9 for its winter meeting, when the Sapling Stakes will be the principal event. —Press Association. ‘ BLATCH-LETD FIGHT SYDNEY, April 23. (Received April 23, at 11.30 a'.m.) There are conflicting opinions as to whether Leto fouled Blatch. ' The newspapers’ boxing writers agree with the referee’s decision, hut other ringsiders say Leto’s punching was absolutely fair. The stadium medical officer found Blatch suffering _ from the effects of punching on his side,_ body, and back, but not upon the kidneys. Leto declared he would recommend that no more boxers should be sent to Australia. He claimed that he was disqualified without justification. Leto’s manager, Viscusi, said ho would advise American promoters that _ it was dangerous to fight in Australia,
