WORLD CONFERENCE PROPOSED . AMERICAN SENATOR'S SUGGESTION Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, April. 8. Senator Lewis suggested in the Senate that President Roosevelt should call a World Peace Conference to meet here. Ho said they would thus remove the delegates from the prejudices and influences of the Old World. He urged that it was an opportune time to revise the Versailles Treaty.
