VAGRANT’S "DOSS"

* FOUND IN DOCTOR'S CAR [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 8. A doctor who had been called to an urgent case at 3.40 a.m. found a young man named George M'Kinlay, sinale, in his car in the _ garage. M'Kinlay was charged later with being found on enclosed premises without lawful excuse. It was stated by the police that ho was drifting into a vagrant’s life.

M'Kinlay said he received 18s a week sustenance, but had to pay away 10s a week.

A sentence of two months’ imprisonment with hard labour was imposed.
