VARIOUS ART COLLECTIONS (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, June 29. The sales of art treasures in London auction rooms this week reached £200,000. At Christie’s famous rooms the sale totalled £112,000, including £70,000 realised for the Pierpont Morgan collection of miniatures yesterday. Enamels and other works of art produced £IB,OOO. Rare stamps have also been responsible for much money changing hands, one collection sold in Bona street alone fetching £IO,OOO. Many art collections from abroad are finding their way to London auction rooms and several other important sales are pending.
