IMPERIAL EX-SERVICEMEN
The monthly social was conducted on Monday at the 11.5. A. Club rooms, when items were rendered by popular artists. This, followed by dancing, brought an enjoyable evening to a close. Among the performers the Phillips family figured prominently, and their items were as follows: —Cornet solo, Miss Maureen Phillips; violin solo, Master Eddie Phillips; song and dance, Master Trevan Pnillips ; 1 with Miss Nadie Phillips at the piano. Other items were: Pianoforte solo, Mr Lex Bruce; song, Mr Alex. Snell. _ Miss Pocock rendered -two pleasing items; Mr Wiseman appealed in Scottish humour, and Mr Morrs gave a recitaton. At the concluson a vote of thanks was accorded the artists. Mrs Morris was thanked also for her gift of an attractive hand-made lamp shade for fund raising purposes in connection with the newly-formed miniature rifle club.
