The going was on the dead side. . . Tartan Maid, Ada, and Bay Biddy finished in the order named over five furlongs in 53sec. From a standing start, Slaemisli and Totolomai ran four furlongs in 54sec. Wall Street was too good for Centum over four furlongs in 52 3-ssec. Wall Street is very well. Mayam and Bay Duke were together at the end of a half-mile in 52 3-ssec. Niggerhead and the steeplechaser Nylofis ran four furlongs in 56sec. Niggerhead has come on well since the Riverton meeting, and is greatly improved. Red Terror ran half a mile in 53sec. No visiting horses have yet arrived.
