CITIZEN’S DAY NURSERY
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —In reading your interesting report of the Dunedin Citizens’ Day Nursery, and as one who has benefited very much through the privileges of leaving my three children therein, I feel a deep regret that no word of thanks or praise is given to the ever-patient, ever-smiling nurse whom we mothers look on not only as nurse whom the children love, but as adviser, counsellor, and friend in all children’s troubles and in the ordinary trials of life. 1 ask mothers who are more capable than myself and who have benefited like me to give praise where praise is due. Believe me, if it were not for the nurse there might not have been such a glowing report to-night.—l am, etc.. Grateful Mother. March 1.
