IMPERIAL AIRWAYS
PROPOSED EXTENSION TO NEW ZEALAND CARRIAGE OF MAILS AMD PASSENGERS [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 16. In the logical course ■of events the Imperial Airways mail and passenger, service would be extended to New Zealand, said Mr S. A. Dismore, secretary, of the company, in an interview to-day; Such an extension, he added, would probably require a subsidy or Jnail contract. Mr Dismore also said that the Singapore-Brisbaue service would be opened in time for the Christmas mails this year, only mails to be carried for the first three months. The passenger faro from England to Brisbane would be £2OO, and the trip would take fourteen days. The tendency would be for the fare to be reduced. The faro from London to Paris had fallen from £2l single in 1919 to £7 12s return.
