THE OTAGO CRICKET TEAM.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —It is to be hoped that when the team to play Wellington has been finally chosen present form will be a deciding factor. Groves, who again got the majority of the wickets for his club last Saturday, should be included in the team, while Dunning and Knight should, in my opinion, give way to other players. Ditchfield has played bis way into the team, and must be given his chance. The team, apart from the wicketkeeper, I would like to see represent Otago is as follows:—Badcock, Cavanagh, Talbot. Dickinson, Ditchfield. Maloney. Uttle.v. Groves. Elmes, and Nimmo. This would give us plenty of variety in bowling, and also a strong batting side.—l am, etc., Interested. February 6.
