FRASER’S GULLY, KAIKORAI.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Last Saturday afternoon I spent at Fraser’s Gully with my family, but there was one thing that happened ■which should be strictly prohibited, and that is people allowing their dogs .to go into the creek. Dozens of persons drank creek water after boiling the billy. Water afterwards flows on to the Kaikorai open air baths, but previously the water has been contaminated by the dogs going into the creek. To save any illness happening, cpuld it not be possible for some authorised person or persons to take the name and address of offenders, so as to prosecute. My sympathies are with the dogs on a warm . day, but picnic parties and the baths must be safeguarded, so I ask the dog owners to recognise that prevention is better than cure.—l am, etc., No. February 6.
