OVER HALF A MILLION
INVERCARGILL WOOL SALE RETURNS [Per United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, February 1. The estimated return from the wool sale is over £500,000, . the average price per bale being £l7. The passings amounted to about 2 per cent. The average price per pound was 13d, conipared with 5.34 d last year, when the bales averaged £7 4s and the total amount realised was £175,600.
