(Received February 1, at 12.40 p.m.) At the wool sales 10,429 bales were offered, including 6,056 from New Zealand. About 7,135 bales were sold. Continental competition was well sustained. Yorkshire was more reserved. Withdrawals of cross-breds were fairly numerous. All better grades of merinos realised steady prices. New Zealand greasy merino, “C.H.n. top I9d, average 16d.
