(Received January 25, at 11.25 a.m.) Leaflets calling for the mass murder of Europfean men, women, and children by the Indian Republican Army were produced at the trial of two Bengalis who were charged before a special tribunal at Calcutta with throwing bombs and firing revolvers at Europeans in Chittagong. . Four Bengalis at another trial wore charged with criminal intimidation. Terrorists attempted to extort money from Indian firms to keep revolutionary activities alive. They said they wanted money to purchase revolvers and commit outrages, to murder officials, including the president of the Chittagong tribunal. Letters conveyed threats of death to individuals and their families if money was not paid.
