TRAGEDY AVERTED AT BRIIHTI Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, June 8. The Rev. Frederick Phillip, of India, and his two sons, aged 17 and 14, were bathing in the surf at Bronti to-day, when all wore carried seaward and were in danger of drowning. Their plight was noticed by two members of the local life saving club, one of whom, Keith Hudson, stripped, donned a belt, swam out in a heavy sea, and rescued the trio. They were resuscitated on the beach. Mr Phillip is rector of the Anglican Grammar School at Hyderabad. He expressed deep gratitude to Hudson and his companion, who manned the reel.
