IS MARS INHABITED?
SCIENTISTS SAY NO HOT AS WE KNOW LIFE OH EARTH Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. VANCOUVER, June 8. (Received June 9, at 1.35 p.m.)
Addressing the Science Congress today, Dr W. S. Adams, of the Wilson Observatory, Pasadena, said that proof that there is insufficient oxygen in the bands around Mars to sustain life, such as we know it on earth, had been supplied through the medium of infrared photography. He added that recent developments in photography had shown clearly that the oxygen content of the Mars bands was probably less than one-tenth of 1 per cent.
Dr J. S. Plaskert .(Victoria, British Columbia) added that it definitely set aside the idea of life on Mars as we know, it on earth.
