ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The Rev. V. G. Bryan King acknowledges a most generous donation which he received towards his work some time ago, but which, for obvious reasons, he could not make known earlier. The Messrs Hudson, of the firm of Cadbury, Fry, and Hudson, gave fifty tons of coal and 100 of the best blankets for distribution among those ministered to at the Mission House, and furthermore undertook the delivery of the coal in all parts of the city. But for their kindness it would have been impossible to cope with all the requests for help during the past winter. Mr James Fletcher also donated twenty tons of coal for the same purpose, and to all of these gentlemen Mr King extends his sincerest thanks and that of the hundreds of people who benefited by their generosity. The St. Kilda Unemployment Relief Committee acknowledges with thanks the donation of £4 from the Musselburgh Presbyterian Church. The members of the Waipahi Camp Football Club thanks the residents of Pukerau, Ashburton, Waipahi, and Tapanui for hospitality bestowed on occasions when they had played against teams in those places.
