Heavy fog enveloped practically thef whole of England to-day, and land, sea and air communications were, greatly hampered. The Flainand, which was at anchor, was holed, above th© water line owing to a collision om Gravesend with the Ellerman finer City of Manila.. There were no casualties. Flying to and from Uoydon was rendered impossible.
