The Senate’s Agriculture Committee! has approved of a Bill authorising the Farm Board to give 40,000.000 bushels of its surplus wheat for feeding tho unemployed. It will be pressed fog action in the Senate on Monday. The Department of Agriculture ha? announced that the winter wheat acreage has been -reduced . 10.4 per cent., a reduction much less than waS expected. The new acreage is estimated at 38,682,000. , , The condition of the winter wheat on December 1 was! given as 79.4 per cent*
