DANCER BRINGS ACTION PAVLOVA GIVES EVIDENCE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, November 5. (Received November 6, at 11.30 a.m.) Pavlova’s husband, ' Victor Dandre, agreed to pay £2OO damages and costs to Miss Elsa Darcy, a member of a dancing troupe touring tho Straits Settlements. The action arose out ot a kiss snatched from Miss Darcy by another dancer named Slavinsky on the deck of a steamer between Rangoon and Penang. Miss Darcy alleged that Dandre had aspersed her character, and did not allow her to perform. Pavlova gave evidence in broken English. She said she had the highest regard for Miss Darcy’s character.
