ONTARIO ELECTIONS

GOVERNMENT’S RETURN CERTAIN Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, October 26. The Ontario electors will go to the polls next Wediiesday ; when unquestionably t?.e Conservative Government, headed* by the Premier (Mr Ferguson) will be returned. One of the chief recommendations of the present Administration is fairly general satisfaction with the sale oi liquor by the Government stores. The Liberal and Progressive Opposition would aboKsh this for Prohibition or something else untried, and on this issue Mr Ferguson appears to be certain of return. All the same, there is a growing propaganda throughout Ontario, where most of Canada’s breweries and distilleries are situated, to prohibit the legal export of liquor to the United States.
