rC-NIGHT'S NEW ZEALAND PROGRAMMES A talk on ‘ Motoring ’ by Mr George Campbell at 7.15 and an address by Mr A. B. Chappell at 9 o’clock on topical, questions will be broadcast by IYA The concert programme will bo mainly operatic, and in addition ‘ Danny Boy and a negro spiritual, ‘ I Stood by do llibber oh Jordan,’ will be introduced. The vocalists will be Miss Helen Taylor Mrs M. E. Hobday, Mr Roger Ellington, and Mr E. Snell. Elocutionary numbers will be given by Mr A. M'Skimming. There will be iteips by the Studio Trio and Miss Ilia Bosworth (Violinist). 1 There will bo the weekly talk fo>“the man on the land” from 2YA. The speaker will be a representative of the,; Agricultural Department. Varied will be tbo concert programme. Among tbo vocal numbers will bo solos from ‘ Florodora ’ and ‘The Geisha.’ The selections by the 2YA Salon Orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr M. T. Dixon, will include Keler Bela’s ‘Hungarian Lustspiel,’ part 2 of Luigini’s ‘ Ballet Russ'e,’ Liszt’s 1 Liebestraum, and Krein’s ‘ Glory of Russia.’ The assisting artists will be Miss Gretta Stark (soprano), Air Claude Moss (baritone), and Miss Dorothy Seymour, who will entertain with humorous items by Wish Wynne. Messrs Edward Silver and Bert Burton will be heard in the latest popular jazz songs.

The St. Kilda Band, under Air,James Dixon, will bo supplying a programme of varied items at 4YA. Miss Rita Holmes will sing tbo solo ‘ The Song of Carissima.’ ‘On Wings of Song ’ will bo sung by Alias. Irene Horuiblow. These two vocalists will also be hoard in duets, ‘The Little Old Garden’ and ‘ln Spring Time.’ Elocutionary numbers will bo contributed by Miss Sheila Neilson. Silent day at 3YA.

Commencing at S, 4ZAI will present a recital of the ‘Mikado,’ and from 9.45 to 11 a programme will bo provided by tbo Kenz Orphean,s, a leading dance band. There will also be selected recordings.
