Rod Cross commissioners will besent to Chinn at the request of President Hoover .to investigate the famine conditions, with tho idea of sending the surplus American wheat to the sufferers. The President does not think that this will offer a method of dealing with tho American surplus, although Senator Nye lias a Rill pending for the appropriation ot 100,000,000d0l to facilitate the exnort ot wheat to China. President Iloovei, however, envisages the matter as purely a relief problem in no way associated with the wheat surplus situation.—Austra-lian-Press Association.
