OUT OF HAND
SAILORS AND STEWARDS “BAY" LINER’S VOYAGE PASSENGERS' UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE Tress Association—By Tclegraph—Copyrigoj. LONDON, June 13, (Received June 13, at 11 a.m.) The Esperance Bay’s voyage was anything but a model of ship life. It is alleged that some members of the crew and some of tho stewards got completely out of hand. Tho passengers were treated contemptuously, and tho food was shoved in front of them. Tho crew bore an obvious air of gladness at finishing their connection with the line. They did not caro twopence for tho Commonwealth Government’s management, the stewards declared. As a deck piano was provided by themselves for their own entertainment they declined to give their successors tho benefit of it.
