TELEGRAM AS PICTURE
HEW FORM OF MESSAGE EXPERIMENTS PROCEEDING (British Official News.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, April 13. (Received April 14, at 11 a.m.) Among the experiments which the engineering department of the General Post Office is making in connection with its telegraph service, one of the most interesting is directed to the sending ■ of a telegram as a picture, so that it shall reach the person to whom it is addressed as a facsimile of the handwriting of the sender. Experiments are being made in cooperation with Germany, and if they prove successful a new form of message will doubtless be adopted.
