HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE

BARR’S COMEDY COMPANY At His Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday next W. J. C. Barr’s Comedians will open their comedy season with the farcical comedy ‘Up Jn Mabel’s Room.’ This comedy is a laughterprovoker from the rise of the curtain till its fall. It tolls the story of the difficulties a young man can get into through a too-enthusiastic infatuation for an attractive widow and a subsequent cooling of his ardor! Mr Billy O’Hanlon has the part of the youth who is in constant trouble, and Miss Zara Clinton, an American actress of distinction, takes that of the attractive widow. Mr A. Brandon Cremer, a well-known Australian comedian, keeps the house in roars of laughter with his drolleries as a serving man. Other members of the company who help in the fun-making are Eric Harrison, Warwick Beattie, Thomas M‘l)ermott, Shirley Cooke, Hilda Attenboro, and Sybil Athnlwood. During the season at His Majesty’s Theatre another comedy. ‘Oh! Richard! How Could You?’ will he staged by this company of comedians, which _ comes straight from Sydney, where it has just completed a successful season. The box plans are open.
