The • Greymonth Diamond Jubilee Committee reports . that all arrangements arc progressing favorably for the borough jubilee functions, extending from February 25 to March 3. Return bag to Crawford, Havelock North.” A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Romney Marsh Sheep Breeders’ Association was held at Masterton last night. It was reported that the export trade for Now Zealand Romney was increasing, and that since September 21, 1927, a total of 267 Romneys had been exported from New Zealand ns follows;—Six stud rams and 61 stud ewes to New South Wales; 22 stud rams to Argentine: 72 stud rams and 71 stud ewes to Patagonia; 2ft stud rams and 5 stud ewes to Chile; 1 stud ram and 1 stud ewe to San Francisco; and 8 flock rams to New South Wales. The report of the suh-enmmittee regarding the compulsory inspection of all registered flocks was adopted, and it was decided to submit it to the annual meeting of the association in June, with a recommendation that all members have their flocks voluntarily inspected.
