SOVIET DISSENSIONS
THE COMMUNIST PARTY EXPULSION OE OPPOSITIONISTS URGED. Prc*a Aisociation—By Telegraph—Copyright. MOSCOW, November 11. (Received November 12, at 1.30 a.m.) Tho newspapers publish a resolution from tho Central Committee of the Union Communist Party insisting upon the necessity oi expelling Trotsky, Zinovieff, Kameneff, and other oppositionists from tho party. The resolution says that it is best to show that Trotsky is attempting to rally the nonproletarian forces. A document prepared by Trotsky and forbidden publication in Russia, now published in Berlin, confirms the reports that the situation of tho workers is growing worse, with long hours, low pay, and .unemployment. Tho number of unemployed is 2,000,000.
It is indicated that one of the reasons why Stalin refrains from rigorous measures of repression is that the oppositionists are in possession of documents compromising some of the officials, and secondly that the oppositionists are growing in strength within tho army. 1
