(Received August 11, at- 9.30 a.m.) A message from San Diego, California, states that Lieutenants George Covell and H. W. Waggencr. of the United .States Navy, were killed today when tliei' - machine crashed as it was taking off for a flight to San Fra nci-seo. where It was intended to hop off for Honolulu with fourteen other entrants on Friday.—A. and N.Z. and 'Sun’ Cable.
